Erfreuliches gibt es zu verkünden. Am gestrigen Tag wurden in Dortmund die TOP 10 Businesspläne des start2grow-Businessplanwettbewerbs von der Jury gekürt.

Aus über 67 eingereichten Ideen wurde unsere Idee als eine der 10 besten Ideen gewählt. Auf der im Technologie-Zentrum Dortmund stattgefundenen Prämierung wurden den Siegern die Urkunden verteilt.

Wir freuen uns natürlich rieeeesig über die Auszeichnung und bedanken uns bei den drei Gutachtern, der Jury, den Organisatoren des Wettbewerbs und natürlich auch bei Euch, die ihr immer mit gutem Feedback dafür gesorgt habt, dass wir Cobocards so weit bringen konnten.

Good news to share. Yesterday we received an award for one of the best 10 business plans participating at the competition start2grow in Dortmund.

67 teams have participated at this competition this year. The best 10 teams were announced during the 7th coaching event at the Center of Technology.of Dortmund.

We are sooo happy and proud. Our thanks to the jury, to the organisers of the competition and to all of you who really helped us with feedbacks to improve Cobocards.

Wie schon in der Umfrage mitgeteilt, wollten wir gerne eure Meinung in die Entwicklung des Pools miteinfließen lassen. Vielen Dank für eure rege Teilnahme.

Und so sieht das Ergebnis aus:

• Der Großteil von euch sucht nach einem bestimmten Thema, egal an welcher Schule / Uni der Kartensatz erstellt wurde oder von wem
• Die Hälfte bevorzugt ein Suchfeld, die andere Hälfte mehrere Suchfelder
• Der überwiegende Teil spezifiziert das Suchergebnis gerne nach Kategorien
• Auch will der überwiegende Teil seine Karten jedem zur Verfügung stellen.

Letzter Punkt freut uns sehr, denn ein lebendiger Pool braucht viele, die mitmachen.

Ach ja, bevor wir es vergessen: Danke auch für die vielen netten Worte, die ihr im Kommentarbereich abgegeben habt. Wir haben uns alle durchgelesen (auch die Vorschläge) und an entsprechender Stelle festgehalten.

As we mentioned in our survey we wanted to consider your opinion while developing the search functionality for the pool. Thanks a lot again for your participation.

And here are the results of the international jury:

• The most of you don’t care about the school/university or author. They just search for the subject.
• One part prefers one single search field, the other several search fields
• The majority likes to filter the search results with categories
• Also the majority wants to share his flashcard sets with other users via the pool

We are happy to see the last result. A big pool with a lot of sets is beneficial for everyone.

BTW: Thank you very much for your comments and your nice wishes. We have read all of them and will take them into consideration.

We have just released a small update, which was the reason for the temporary maintenance site.

In addition to some internal system changes, there is still a small new feature. Now it’s possible to add hyperlinks to the flash cards. The following code:

When you have the task to make a server change, keep GNU Wget in mind.

When we changed our server nearly 2 months ago, this tool has given us great support. Even a CLI tool, small but powerful, long live the command line!

Wir arbeiten zur Zeit hart an einem Pool-System. Das wird eine öffentliche Plattform werden, auf der man u.a. veröffentlichte Kartensätze, Karten, User, etc. durchsuchen kann. Darüber hinaus wird es noch einige tolle Funktionen geben, die ich aber an dieser Stelle noch nicht verraten möchte 🙂

Durch diese öffentliche Plattform ergeben sich viele neue Möglichkeiten. Warten wir einfach mal ab, wir sind schon gespannt!

Currently we are working hard on a pool system. It will be a platform for searching published flashcard sets, user, tags, etc. In addition it will have a few cool features, but I won’t reveal too much 🙂

This public platform will offer a lot of new possibilities, but we will see, we are excited!
