Your program is broken

    Let's see...

    When I try to add a card in a large deck (at least 50 cards)
    1. It will save the card but not move me to the saved card screen, at this point all the buttons break. Cancel doesn't work but more than once. The only way to exit the screen is to back all the way out to home, and go back in to the deck. I can save a few cards this way, but at some point all the buttons except for |home|cards|study| (I haven't clicked on printing..) seem to be broken.

    2. Furthermore, If I start a new deck (under 50 cards). It's broken in the exact same way.

    This is very frustrating. I loved your program, but this has been an ongoing issue since you made you big upgrade a couple of months back. This is more convenient for me as many of notes are online already. I hope I don't have to quit using your program, especially since I now have a paid membership.

    This is really very strange. The decks you are using were Ok and are are now somehow broken?
    Hmm. And even news decks you create make problems. Really strange. First time to hear that.

    Ok. So what can we do:

    It would help a lot if you could screen record what is happening.
    Two easy ways for doing that:

    1. There is a website called http://screenr.com. You don't have to install anything. It can record what is happening on your screen. Then you could post that video online.

    2. Another way would be to use http://www.jingproject.com. It's absolutely easy install, to record and to post that video online.

    It would be a big help for us to see what is happening so we could understand it better. As you mentioned that you've tried it with several browsers it's not a browser problem. Meanwhile we will have a look into that and see if we can find something out.

    Hi Eleanor,

    Ok. We've checked it.

    I guess that you get your content from powerpoint presentations or PDFs-
    When you copy paste some control characters are pasted too. Wikipedia says the following about those characters:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Control_character

    And CoboCards has a problem with these characters.

    So what can be done. Before you paste the content in CoboCards open an ordinary editor like notepad. Paste the content there where you can see those characters. Delete them then copy the content and paste it into CoboCards. There shouldn't be a problem then.

    We are also looking into that problem and trying to find a solution for those characters.
