Blackberry Pushcast software.
Sends information that is well protected and tracked to blackberry mobile devices. Great for tutoring and instructional purposed outside the classroom. This technology would be a great alternative to texting between students and teachers outside the classroom because of it's organized and easily traceable format. Student/ teacher boundaries would be supported while still allowing greater support to students.

Its allows for collaboration and tracking of the progress of users.Teachers could post class notes and study questions that could be accessed at anytime by students. Teachers can then see the progress of the class and make lesson plans to best help the progress of the students.

QR Code Generators/ Readers
"Quick response codes" can be generated and read by many of the mobile devices that the students own, or that can be provided by the school. They can reveal different types of text such as URL's, or short descriptions. I the classroom the Generators could be used as a quick way to turn a lesson into a problem solving, treasure hunt, activity that would encourage engagement and creative thinking.

Students could be given a project to create a mobile website that would advertise whatever they are interested in. This could be applied to different activities depending on the grade.
